Position: Environmental Inspector for Transit Project
Join Scarborough Transit Connect as an Environmental Inspector for the Scarborough Subway Extension project. Ensure compliance and environmental protection while conducting inspections and monitoring activities daily.

In this role, you will oversee environmental monitoring and reporting related to the construction of critical transit infrastructure. You will conduct daily inspections, maintain logs, and prepare compliance reports to support the Environmental Compliance Officer. Your expertise will guide construction teams in adhering to environmental regulations and mitigations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily environmental inspections and monitoring

• Maintain detailed logs and photographic evidence

• Prepare and submit compliance reports monthly

• Guide teams on air quality, noise, and vibration issues

• Respond to potential environmental issues efficiently

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in environmental science or related field

• 3-5 years experience in environmental monitoring

• Certification in Erosion and Sediment Control preferred

• Clean Canadian driver’s license required

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
