As an Environmental Waste Operator, you will oversee the disposal facilities and ensure accurate tracking of waste metrics. Your day-to-day duties will include loading waste for transport, operating compactors, and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. This position offers an opportunity to directly support our sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee waste processing and maintain logs

• Prepare waste for processing and vendor returns

• Clean and maintain waste processing equipment

• Ensure sanitary conditions in work areas

• Follow health and safety protocols diligently

Requirements:

• Must work flexible shifts, including weekends

• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs

• Knowledge of WHMIS & OHSA

• Fluency in English for effective communication

• Willingness to learn about environmental practices
