Rail Project Estimator

Become a vital part of a rail infrastructure project in Toronto as an Estimator. This full-time role focuses on delivering detailed cost estimates and requires strong analytical skills.

We seek an Estimator with experience in infrastructure projects to support the cost estimation process within a collaborative design-build environment. You'll manage aspects such as quantity take-offs, bid analysis, and scope reviews while ensuring estimates reflect evolving project requirements and risks. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate comprehensive cost estimates for materials and subcontractors

• Conduct precise quantity take-offs from technical documents

• Identify risks and cost considerations in contracts

• Track design changes and update estimates accordingly

• Prepare submission packages and documentation

Requirements:

• 3–8+ years of estimating experience

• Understanding of rail/transit project requirements

• Strong communication skills in multidisciplinary settings

• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and tasks

• Proficiency in estimating software solutions
