Sr. Geologist, Exploration

They're seeking an Exploration Geologist to help manage and grow their North American mining practice. This role is well suited to a technically strong exploration professional who enjoys working across multiple projects and commodities, and who has the leadership and communication skills to contribute to team growth and client relationships.

What You’ll Do

Compile, execute, and interpret mineral exploration programs across a range of commodities and geological settings

Compile, validate, and interpret geological, geochemical, geophysical, and drilling datasets to generate and refine exploration targets

Develop and maintain geological interpretations, cross sections, and conceptual deposit models

Support drill program design, including logging protocols, sampling strategies, and QA/QC procedures

Contribute to technical reports, memoranda, and regulatory disclosures supporting exploration results and project advancement

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate exploration results into scoping studies, due diligence reviews, and project evaluations

Assist with peer reviews, internal technical discussions, and continuous improvement of exploration workflows

Skills and

What You’ll Bring

Degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related discipline;
Master’s degree considered an asset

Approximately 6–10 years of progressive experience in mineral exploration, ideally across multiple commodities or deposit styles

Strong foundation in field geology, drill core logging, sampling, and geological data interpretation

Experience with geological modeling and data management software such as Leapfrog or equivalent

Working knowledge of geochemistry, geophysics, and modern exploration targeting methodologies

Familiarity with international reporting standards related to exploration results, including NI 43-101 and/or JORC

Strong technical writing skills and the ability to clearly communicate geological concepts to technical and non-technical audiences

Experience working in a consulting or multi-project environment is considered an asset
