Water​/Wastewater Operator at Clearford

Become an integral part of Clearford's Operations Team as a Water/Wastewater Operator managing essential water systems across Ontario. Perform operations, maintenance, and compliance duties ensuring top-notch service and regulatory adherence.

This role involves collaborating with the Hub Supervisor and supporting teams to efficiently handle Water Treatment, Distribution, and Wastewater systems. Applicants should possess strong troubleshooting skills, experience with SCADA systems, and operational optimization. You'll engage in daily sampling, monitoring, and compliance documentation to uphold safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain water treatment systems

• Conduct regular inspections and system monitoring

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

• Collect and transport regulatory samples

• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Level 1 Licenses in Water and Wastewater Treatment

• Experience with Water Distribution considered an asset

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Valid Ontario Class G2 driver’s license

• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
