WSP Senior Engineer in Rail Signaling

As a part of WSP's Rail & Transit team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the implementation of reliable and safe rail signaling systems. Your expertise will be crucial in reviewing technical documentation and conducting detailed analyses. This senior role involves mentoring junior engineers and guiding project execution to meet client specifications and industry standards, promoting both safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead technical development of effective rail signaling systems
• Review and approve all technical specifications for projects
• Conduct technical checks of circuit designs and plans
• Develop signaling schemes conforming to industry standards
• Engage clients effectively to resolve engineering challenges
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario or EIT eligible
• A minimum of 10 years in signaling or Rail Systems Engineering
• Demonstrated experience in conventional signaling systems
• Strong understanding of rail codes and standards
