Join WSP as a Tunnel Design Lead overseeing underground infrastructure projects in mining and transportation. Your leadership will shape the future of tunneling while ensuring the highest technical standards.
In this dynamic role, you will guide the delivery of complex tunneling projects, acting as the key technical advisor for clients. Your insights will inform strategic business development efforts, while you mentor teams to build expertise and drive successful project outcomes. Safety and quality will be at the forefront of all your initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead technical project delivery from concept through construction
• Serve as the primary client interface and technical consultant
• Contribute to business development through strategic proposals
• Ensure safety and risk management practices are upheld
• Develop multidisciplinary teams and enhance technical depth
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in civil, geotechnical, or geological engineering preferred
• 15+ years in tunneling and underground infrastructure
• 5+ years in an engineering leadership role
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects
• Membership with Professional Engineers Ontario required
