Trackwork EIT Position

Start your engineering journey with AtkinsRéalis' Rail Systems Trackwork team in Toronto. As a Junior Engineer-in-Training, play a key role in rail network projects across Canada.

In this position, you will collaborate with seasoned professionals to influence the design and construction of light rail, metro, and heavy rail systems. Core tasks include track alignment, ride-quality optimization, and detailed engineering drawing preparation, all while ensuring project accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute track alignment and layout design for rail projects

• Optimize system performance through ride-quality analysis

• Create detailed engineering drawings for trackwork

• Carry out quantity take-offs for cost assessments

• Support technical specification and documentation preparations

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering required

• Must be eligible or registered with EGBC

• Proficient in AutoCAD or Micro Station required

• Effective communication skills and strong work ethic

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred
