This role requires a civil designer passionate about municipal infrastructure and transportation planning, backed by 5+ years of relevant experience. You’ll be responsible for detailed civil designs, overseeing coordination with various engineering disciplines and providing leadership to junior designers. High-quality project execution is paramount in this collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop preliminary and detailed roadway designs and specifications
• Create accurate engineering drawings with 3D modeling tools
• Collaborate closely with CAD and multidisciplinary teams
• Guide junior designers with technical skills and project support
• Conduct designs compliant with federal and local standards
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related area
• 5+ years in municipal, civil engineering, and design
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Open Roads software
• History of managing small design projects beneficial
• Strong collaboration and independent working abilities
