At Stelumar, the Manufacturing Equipment Engineer will lead critical initiatives for fully automated manufacturing facilities located in Etobicoke and Mississauga. This position requires strong collaboration with product design and operations, as well as expertise in writing proposal documents and conducting risk assessments. Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in high-volume manufacturing and demonstrate project management capabilities, ensuring equipment complies with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on equipment sourcing for production requirements

• Write detailed Requests for Quotes and Proposals

• Conduct assessments to mitigate equipment risks

• Manage the installation and testing of new equipment

• Develop maintenance programs to optimize uptime

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)

• Minimum of 5 years in automated manufacturing environments

• CAD software proficiency (AutoCAD, Solid Works)

• Hands-on experience with PLC and automation technologies

• Excellent communication and project management skills
