Mechanical Engineer – Food & Beverage Projects

In this position, you will be responsible for the mechanical system design, supporting renovation and redevelopment projects for food, beverage, and manufacturing facilities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, performing HVAC, plumbing, and utility designs, while ensuring compliance with necessary codes and standards. Your contributions will be pivotal in delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support mechanical design for various building projects

• Conduct calculations for HVAC and utility systems

• Prepare mechanical deliverables such as P&IDs and layouts

• Review vendor submittals and shop drawings

• Assist with construction administration and troubleshooting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 3 years of consulting experience

• Competency in AutoCAD and Revit programs

• Familiarity with codes and standards applicable in Canada

• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
