Join Alstom as an Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer in Toronto, leveraging your EMC skills to support railway systems.
Your role will shape the future of safer and innovative transport solutions.
This full-time position requires a professional with a strong background in electromagnetic compatibility, especially within railway systems and 25KV environments. You will work collaboratively with engineers from various disciplines, tackling EMC-related challenges while preparing compliance documentation and conducting tests that keep products safe and effective in operation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Solve EMC-related issues in railway product projects
• Prepare EMC Transverse Requirements Specifications
• Conduct EMC tests and deliver thorough reports
• Assist in enforcing EMC design rules across products
• Share EMC/EMI knowledge through team collaboration
Requirements:
• Engineering degree in Electrical or Electronics
• Minimum 5 years' experience in EMI/EMC sectors
• Strong understanding of 25KV traction systems
• P. Eng certification or working towards it
• Proficient in written communication
