Principal Mechanical Engineer Position

Join Rimkus as a Principal Mechanical Engineer, where you will lead complex investigations in engineering and forensic analysis. This hybrid role focuses on supporting clients in legal and commercial sectors through expert consultancy and technical oversight.
You will leverage your extensive experience in design and construction to investigate failure causes and deliver quality solutions. Guiding a regional team of engineers, you will also engage with clients to ensure their needs are met while maintaining project timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct root cause analysis on mechanical failures

• Lead and expand a team of mechanical engineers

• Manage complex engineering projects from start to finish

• Provide expert testimony and prepare detailed technical reports

• Foster client relationships and collaboration across teams
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering

• P.Eng or P.E. licensure required

• Over 15 years of relevant engineering experience

• Proven leadership and communication skills

• Familiarity with the insurance and legal sectors
