e-STORAGE is seeking a Lead Hardware Engineer in Kitchener, ON to design advanced energy storage systems. Join our mission to transform renewable energy technology.
As a Lead Hardware Engineer, you'll be pivotal in developing hardware for utility-scale battery systems. Your deep experience in schematic design and PCB layout will ensure compliance with high reliability and safety standards. You'll collaborate closely with firmware and systems teams to deliver top-tier designs that make a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Translate functional requirements into effective schematic designs
• Design PCBs for high-power and mixed-signal applications
• Conduct component selection based on performance and cost
• Produce comprehensive documentation for manufacturing processes
• Lead prototype testing and troubleshooting in the lab
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• A minimum of 5 years in PCB layout and embedded systems
• Strong experience with safety standards like IEC, UL
• Familiarity with tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams
