As an Autonomous Haulage Systems Mining Technical Consultant at Worley, you will provide essential consulting support and engineering solutions for autonomous systems in surface mining. This role calls for a strong background in mining operations and automation technologies, focusing on improving operational performance and safety. Your contributions will support decision-making throughout varied stages of mining projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with experts in automation and mining technology
• Develop high-quality technical deliverables for clients
• Evaluate and communicate technical recommendations
• Contribute to multidisciplinary project teams' success
• Support continuous improvement in processes and workflows
Requirements:
• Significant surface mining experience with automation focus
• Relevant engineering degree (Mining, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)
• P.Eng. / P.E. certification highly desirable
• Hands-on experience in active mining operations
• Knowledge of mining safety standards and practices
