Drive reliable messaging services as a Senior Design Specialist us on SMS, MMS, and voicemail platforms critical to communication across Canada.
The Senior Design Specialist will be responsible for the operational management and modernization of our messaging technologies. With at least 7 years of experience in telecommunications, you will respond to incidents, implement automation for platform reliability, and coordinate with teams and vendors for optimal service performance.
Your role will play a vital part in ensuring that Canadians rely on seamless communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage SMS, MMS, and voicemail platforms
• Engage in 24/7 on-call support and incident response
• Execute configuration changes during maintenance
• Support service investigations and user concerns
• Lead automation efforts for troubleshooting
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of experience in telecommunications
• Familiarity with messaging service management
• Strong grasp of messaging protocols and network routing
• Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills
