TRCA Water Resources Engineering Specialist

Become a Water Resources Engineering Specialist at TRCA, where you will review critical development applications and infrastructure plans. This permanent, full-time role focuses on utilizing advanced hydrologic systems.
In this position, you will lead assessments of infrastructure projects and development applications while ensuring alignment with provincial regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and comment on development and permit applications

• Guide designs for large-scale infrastructure projects

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of technical submissions

• Facilitate collaboration among internal and external stakeholders

• Manage flood forecasting operations during on-call shifts
Requirements:

• Engineering degree in Water Resources or related field

• Over 4 years of water resources experience

• Attaining or possess Professional Engineer designation

• Familiarity with software such as Visual OTTHYMO

• Understanding of best management practices for water treatment
