In this position, you will lead assessments of infrastructure projects and development applications while ensuring alignment with provincial regulations. Your insight will foster environmentally responsible practices in flood management and stormwater designs. This role is integral to TRCA’s mission of protecting natural resources and improving community resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and comment on development and permit applications
• Guide designs for large-scale infrastructure projects
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of technical submissions
• Facilitate collaboration among internal and external stakeholders
• Manage flood forecasting operations during on-call shifts
Requirements:
• Engineering degree in Water Resources or related field
• Over 4 years of water resources experience
• Attaining or possess Professional Engineer designation
• Familiarity with software such as Visual OTTHYMO
• Understanding of best management practices for water treatment
