This critical role in WSP’s Rail & Transit team allows you to showcase your engineering prowess. You will analyze traction power systems, prepare essential documentation, and ensure all designs meet compliance standards. Your work will significantly influence community transit capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed traction power studies, ensuring compliance
• Prepare and validate engineering documentation and calculations
• Collaborate with diverse engineering teams for system designs
• Develop solutions for stray current and EMI issues
• Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and assessments
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related
• 10+ years in traction power engineering for transit
• Eligible for P.Eng. licensure in Ontario
• Proficiency with engineering modeling tools
• Strong leadership in project management and stakeholder engagement
