Infrastructure CAD Drafter - Light Rail

Enhance your career as an Infrastructure CAD Drafter with SYSTRA Canada, focusing on light rail and roadway projects. This role is key in producing civil drawings and compliance documentation.

You will serve as a BIM Modeller, creating and managing civil modeling designs using Autodesk Civil 3D for transportation projects. Ensuring adherence to design principles and codes is crucial as you collaborate closely with engineers and teams to capture design intent accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D civil drawings for rail and road designs

• Comply with project standards and manage design workflows

• Coordinate with various disciplines for clash-free outputs

• Utilize Micro Station for effective drafting and design production

• Support teams during design reviews and stakeholder presentations

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• Proven Civil 3D experience in infrastructure projects

• Understanding of civil design including grading and drainage

• Ability to create accurate plan/profile sheets

• Proficient in effective communication and problem-solving
