Job Duties- Lead and collaborate on project delivery, including project management, contract administration, and field reviews for projects under construction.
- Maintain exceptional client service throughout project delivery, ensuring clear communication and acting on client feedback.
- Participate in business development with associates, including preparing fee proposals.
- Review and assess existing electrical systems and prepare condition reports.
- Provide technical advisory services to clients for specific electrical engineering projects.
- Work on a wide range of project assignments in building systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low‑voltage systems.
- Prepare load calculations and analysis using industry‑standard electrical engineering software.
- Strengthen existing skills and deliver engineering projects in alignment with client requirements and best practices in the industry.
- Conduct internal technical reviews and verification checks for reports, designs, and specifications.
- Perform other duties as required.
- 3 to 8 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, specifically in building systems (power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systems).
- EIT or registered engineer in Ontario (or eligible for registration) is preferred.
- Electrical designers will also be considered.
- Familiarity with the electrical engineering environment, including detailed design drawings, tender packages, feasibility studies, budget estimates, shop drawing reviews, commissioning, and condition assessments.
- Extensive understanding of building construction and electrical systems.
- Detailed working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and the Ontario Building Code (OBC).
