Intermediate Environmental Planner

Position: Intermediate Environmental Planner at Parsons
Join Parsons as an Intermediate Environmental Planner in the Greater Toronto Area. Contribute to diverse infrastructure projects while mentoring junior staff and engaging in Environmental Assessments.

In this impactful role, you will support senior Environmental Planners and work on key initiatives including Municipal and Transit projects. With at least three years of experience in environmental planning and a strong communication skill set, you’ll play a critical role in project consultation and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on infrastructure projects and write reports

• Assist in proposal preparation for clients

• Liaise directly with clients to understand needs

• Coordinate efforts with subconsultants and stakeholders

• Lead and manage Environmental Assessment processes

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in planning or environmental science

• Strong knowledge of Municipal Class EA and Canadian Impact Assessment Act

• Effective organizational and communication skills

• Familiarity with Ontario's infrastructure projects

• Asset:
Membership in Ontario Professional Planners Institute
