Senior Structural Designer - Nuclear; North York

This position is based on a hybrid work schedule and will require in-office work 3 days per week, providing flexibility to work remotely for two days.

• Design structural supports and foundations, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve a wide variety of design issues.
• Generate structural design schematics using 3‑D modeling software.
• Lead the coordination of detailed design phases for an integrated structural model.
• Coordinate and provide guidance to other designers and project team members to ensure complete and timely design.
• Plan and execute structural design deliverables independently or as part of a team.
• Assist senior designers and engineers in field walkdowns and data gathering at client facilities.

• Five (5) or more years of detailed design experience in structural steel and reinforced concrete drawings.
• A foundational undergraduate program in a technical area such as drafting or a high‑school diploma with drafting coursework, or equivalent technical experience.
• Proficiency with 3‑D modeling software tools such as AutoCAD and Micro Station.
• Experience reviewing structural layout drawings involving steel frames, connections, concrete members, equipment, piping supports, foundations, and rebar detailing.
• Ability to interface with engineering and design teams of other disciplines in the power‑plant design process.
• Associate’s Degree in Computer-Aided Design or related field is desirable.

Base salary in the range $68,050 – $103,966, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Eligible employees may also participate in a yearly discretionary bonus.
