Bridge Engineer

Position: Bridge Engineer at Arup
Contribute innovative designs as a Bridge Engineer with Arup in Toronto, Ontario. This hybrid role emphasizes collaboration on major transit projects and engineering excellence.

As a member of the Bridge, Civil Structural and Offshore Structures (BCOS) team, you’ll be involved in all project phases for bridge designs including planning, construction, and procurement. Your expertise will support notable projects like the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in concept and design of bridges and civil structures

• Perform calculations and document designs under senior guidance

• Support quality control through independent design reviews

• Collaborate with CAD/BIM teams for effective drawing production

• Help manage smaller project tasks to meet deadlines

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Structural Engineering

• Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario

• 5+ years of infrastructure/bridge experience

• Proficiency in structural design software like MIDAS

• Strong communication skills with internal and external clients
