Join La Rocca Creative Cakes as the Engineering Director, overseeing maintenance and reliability functions in Richmond Hill. This role focuses on engineering leadership, project management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will report directly to the VP of Strategic Initiative & Product Development and collaborate closely with the Plant Manager. Your expertise will be vital in developing preventative maintenance plans, managing CAPEX spending, and implementing engineering strategies aligned with La Rocca's growth. Your leadership will drive innovation and maintenance excellence within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of Engineering and Continuous Improvement strategies

• Oversee preventative maintenance and maintenance team operations

• Manage CAPEX Engineering plan for the next 5 years

• Collaborate across departments to address technical challenges

• Own project management for engineering and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent

• 8+ years of engineering leadership in food manufacturing

• Strong understanding of food safety standards

• Proven project and process management experience

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment
