Launch your engineering career with Hitachi Rail’s Electrical Engineering Internship located in Scarborough, Ontario. This role focuses on hardware design and prototyping in a hybrid work environment.
As an intern, you will be part of the Hardware Engineering team for approximately 4 to 8 months. This position welcomes students pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree. You will engage in real-world projects, enhance communication skills, and gain hands-on experience in electrical designs and hardware components.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in designing Vehicle On-board Controllers
• Support prototyping for hardware qualification tests
• Familiarize with company engineering processes
• Aid in releasing Engineering documentation
• Create and review hardware requirements
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of electrical components and basic circuits
• Ability to work independently and multi-task
• Attention to detail in engineering tasks
Contribute to meaningful projects while gaining insight into the cutting-edge technology at Hitachi Rail.
