Join Kinectrics as a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in new build design in Toronto. Help shape innovative solutions for the nuclear energy sector.
In this strategic role, you will focus on engineering design and analysis for new build nuclear power projects. You will provide expert design oversight, enhance multidisciplinary collaboration, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards across all project phases, from conceptualization through execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design and analysis for new build nuclear projects
• Ensure design compliance with safety and regulatory needs
• Review vendor designs and technical specifications
• Participate in safety evaluations and hazard assessments
• Support proposal and scope definition for projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering
• 8+ years of engineering experience in nuclear
• Knowledge of nuclear codes and regulations
• Familiarity with CANDU reactors and related technologies
• Strong communication skills with clients and regulators
