Electrical and Controls Designer at WSP

As an Electrical and Controls Designer, you'll join a dynamic team, transforming P&IDs into detailed electrical drawings and specifications. In this role, you will provide field support and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success. This position is ideal for those passionate about energy transition and sustainability across major Canadian provinces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review P&IDs to create clear electrical drawings

• Generate complete electrical drawing packages for projects

• Evaluate RFQs, quotations, and contract documents

• Provide wiring details and technical guidance in the field

• Coordinate with other engineering teams for project goals

Requirements:

• Technical diploma in electrical engineering technology

• Over 5 years experience in electrical design

• Strong background in Power Generation Projects

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD

• Detail-oriented with a collaborative approach
