SYSTRA Canada is seeking a seasoned Cable Design Lead for Light Rail Transit projects across Canada. Engage in comprehensive design, planning, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to successfully deliver transit solutions.
As a key player, you will utilize your 8+ years of experience in cable containment design for rail and transit systems. Your responsibilities include collaborating with civil, structural, and systems teams, while ensuring compliance with crucial standards. A Professional Engineer designation is required to navigate complex routing constraints and optimize installation practices effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake cable design for Light Rail Transit projects
• Coordinate design efforts with multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety codes and standards
• Manage planning and implementation of cable containment systems
• Contribute to projects that enhance rail transit infrastructure
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering
• 8+ years in cable design for rail or industrial projects
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) or Certified Engineering Technologist
• Experience with routing constraints for transit systems
• Knowledge of industry standards for electrical systems
