We are looking for an individual with a passion for learning who has experience in Pipelines Integrity Assessment and Management and will develop, carry out, and ensure effective integrity programs for assets within the Enhanced Distribution Integrity Management Program (EDIMP) scope. The candidate will also provide technical support for distribution assets on integrity matters and play a lead role in preparing technical material.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute, and complete integrity plans for Enhanced DIMP assets.
  • Ensure plans provide safe, environmentally responsible, and reliable fitness for service assessments in compliance with applicable codes, standards and regulations (CSA Z662, O.Reg 210/01, Ontario Energy Board, Technical Standards and Safety Authority).
  • Perform integrity assessments based on available data.
  • Identify, investigate, assess, and prioritize all Enhanced DIMP hazards for mitigation.
  • Assess assets’ hazards to understand condition, fitness for service, and risks, drawing on operating practices, design requirements, manufacturing practices, inspections, anomaly assessments, cost analysis, process safety, fluid mechanics, metallurgy, welding, and corrosion.
  • Develop Enhanced DIMP documentation following internal processes and practices.
  • Continuously improve the program through management reviews, effectiveness reviews, independent validation observations, and internal assessment findings.
  • Support development and review of Risk Model inputs related to Enhanced DIMP assets and issue recommendations for risk‑based plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create and complete integrity program risk‑mitigation scenarios and strategies.
Qualifications
  • Engineering degree and registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or Canadian jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in pipeline engineering, pipeline integrity, gas transmission or distribution operations.
  • Experience and understanding of pipeline design, construction practices, field operations, and non‑destructive inspection methods for natural gas pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work covers all Enbridge Gas Inc Enhanced DIMP assets, requiring 10‑15% travel and field work.
  • Drivers abstract required.
Pay Rate

Rate is between $29.00 and $32.00 per hour.
