Responsibilities
- Structural design of hydraulic structures, hydroelectric power plants and related structures (concrete and steel)
- Rehabilitation of hydraulic works, hydroelectric power plants and related structures
- Multidisciplinary coordination, attending and leading design meetings (internally and with the client)
- Production of preliminary and detailed engineering, preparation and/or verification of design calculations and associated calculation notes
- Participation and supervision of the production of design reports, structural drawings and technical specifications for calls for tenders
- Follow-up the works during construction
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, structural profile
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the design and rehabilitation of water retaining structures, bridges and civil engineering structures
- Being a member of the PEO or being eligible for registration as a professional engineer in Canada
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of Ontario Power Generation standards is an asset
