We are looking for a qualified Fire Protection Engineer to deliver code consulting services while developing fire and life safety strategies. This position demands extensive knowledge of the National Building Code of Canada and relevant standards. Collaboration with various teams and interfacing with authorities are crucial elements of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide code consulting services for fire and life safety compliance
• Develop fire and life safety strategies tailored to projects
• Review technical reports and ensure compliance with codes
• Coordinate with various project teams to resolve issues
• Support business development initiatives in fire protection
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
• 5–10 years’ experience in fire protection engineering
• Strong knowledge of NBCC, NFCC, UL/ULC standards
• Ability to communicate code concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Valid driver’s license required
Utilize your fire protection engineering skills to ensure code compliance and safety in multidisciplinary projects.
