This role offers a chance to work on significant safety assurance projects within rail and transit systems using hybrid arrangements.
We are seeking individuals at Consultant, Senior, and Principal levels to join our safety assurance team. Responsibilities include crafting safety assurance strategies and deliverables, engaging in risk assessment, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Candidates will also work collaboratively with diverse teams to support project delivery across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing safety assurance strategies for transport projects
• Produce safety plans, safety cases, and hazard logs
• Facilitate hazard identification and risk assessment workshops
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards
• Contribute to Independent Safety Assessment processes
Requirements:
• Experience in safety assurance within rail and transit
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and frameworks
• Background in Independent Safety Assessment activities
• Understanding of system safety lifecycle processes
• Canadian rail industry experience is a plus
