This position is critical for the safe and reliable operation of a 1st Class Steam Plant. As an Assistant Shift Engineer, you will execute various duties including maintenance tasks and adhering to safety protocols. You will interact with plant personnel, contractors, and regulatory authorities, ensuring compliance with provincial safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate 1st Class Steam Plant efficiently

• Maintain strong relationships with contractors and clients

• Perform basic maintenance tasks as required

• Complete W@H and Confined Space responsibilities

• Keep accurate operational records and report safety improvements

Requirements:

• Valid 2nd Class Power Engineer certificate

• Strong technical skills for teamwork or solo tasks

• Available for rotating shifts, including weekends

• Valid Ontario driver's license required

• Attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
