As a Senior Surveyor I, you will be a key player in assessing vessels and marine structures during and after construction. This role requires at least 8 years of experience and a strong foundation in marine regulations. Your duties will focus on the quality of surveying services while helping to shape safety programs and advancements in surveying methods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Examine vessels for compliance with statutory requirements
• Recommend changes to surveying processes and procedures
• Plan and coordinate various phases of surveying work
• Prepare detailed reports of inspections performed
• Supervise and train lower-level surveyors
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or physical science
• Minimum of 8 years in marine industry
• Previous experience with ABS Classification Rules
• Proficient in English;
French preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
