Cable Containment Designer at WSP

As a part of the Rail & Transit team, you will leverage your CAD design skills to create detailed 2D and 3D models for cable containment systems. This role emphasizes collaboration, as you prepare quality submission packages and work closely with diverse teams throughout the project lifecycle. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with client standards while managing design variations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model cable containment systems in 2D and 3D

• Create accurate 3D designs for various transit systems

• Develop drawing packages for submission

• Collaborate with teams during design and commissioning

• Conduct quality checks on designs and deliverables

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in engineering technology

• Minimum 5 years of design experience

• 2+ years in CAD/CADD for transit projects

• Skilled in AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Knowledge of railway standards and technologies
