Mineral Processing Manager for Mining Firm

Our client seeks a talented Mineral Processing Manager in Toronto to join their distinguished corporate technical team. This full-time role focuses on enhancing operations and managing gold heap leach projects.

As part of a private mining firm, you’ll provide operational metallurgical support for a Cu/Mo flotation concentrator and play a vital role in the development of a large-scale heap leach project. Your responsibilities will include data analysis, process optimization, and preparing technical documentation while collaborating with multiple disciplines like geology and engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support metallurgical operations and troubleshooting

• Evaluate circuit performance and optimize processes

• Review vendor packages and participate in project design

• Prepare technical reports for operational improvements

• Maintain metallurgical datasets and performance metrics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical, Mineral Processing, or Chemical Engineering

• 6 to 10+ years in relevant operations

• Experience with flotation concentrators and heap leach methods

• Strong data analysis and communication skills

• Willingness to travel periodically for site visits
