Position: Lead Geotechnical Engineer for WSP Projects
Join WSP's Ground Engineering team as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in Northern Ontario. This leadership position focuses on managing complex projects while fostering collaboration and innovation.
In this role, you will direct geotechnical engineering initiatives from start to finish, ensuring both technical quality and satisfaction for clients. By conducting thorough site investigations and analyses, you will prepare vital reports while mentoring junior colleagues. Your influence will extend through collaboration with various stakeholders, enriching infrastructure development and community outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects from conception to completion

• Conduct and oversee advanced geotechnical site investigations

• Prepare and review geotechnical reports and engineering designs

• Mentor junior engineers in technical and professional development

• Drive collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering required

• P.Eng. designation in Ontario mandatory

• Minimum 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering

• Expertise in ground improvement techniques and soil mechanics

• Strong proficiency in geotechnical design software
