Senior Metallurgist in Ontario Engineering

Join WSP as a Senior Metallurgist in Ontario and play a key role in developing state-of-the-art processing plants. Leverage over 15 years of experience to enhance engineering solutions for clients.
In this role, you will join the ERI Metals and Mining group and collaborate on engineering projects. As a Senior Metallurgist, your responsibilities include defining process designs, analyzing metallurgical data, and preparing capital and operating cost estimates. You will also act as a Qualified Person for technical reports and guide junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build stakeholder relationships and identify project needs

• Develop mass balances and design criteria

• Supervise laboratory tests and analyze data

• Prepare detailed engineering documents and specifications

• Assist project managers with engineering tasks
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent

• 15+ years of relevant experience

• Registered P.ENG or equivalent engineering license

• Strong attention to detail and initiative

• Experience in consulting engineering is an asset
