As a 2nd Class Assistant Shift Engineer, you will work closely with a dedicated team to guarantee the plant's operation meets high standards. Critical tasks include performing shift engineer duties, maintaining positive relations with various stakeholders, and following safety regulations diligently. Interacting with service contractors and inspectors will also form an essential part of your job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute operational duties for the 1st Class Steam Plant

• Work collaboratively with contractors and inspectors

• Engage in basic maintenance and safety tasks

• Approach W@H and Confined Space duties confidently

• Contribute to safety record-keeping and improvements

Requirements:

• Valid 2nd Class Power Engineer certification

• Technical expertise for both teamwork and autonomy

• Ability to work various shifts as needed

• Ontario driver's license is mandatory

• Strong focus on safety and detailed troubleshooting
