As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer at WSP, you'll create electrical power systems to enhance safety and efficiency for clients across Canada. Your expertise is crucial in designing distribution and control systems, conducting power system studies, and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle. You will influence outcomes while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design electrical power distribution and control systems
• Conduct load flow and short-circuit studies
• Prepare specifications for switch gear and transformers
• Oversee engineering calculations and site evaluations
• Build client relationships and respond to inquiries
Requirements:
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in BC
• Strong knowledge of CSA, ANSI, and IEEE standards
• Proficiency with ETAP or Easy Power tools
• Experience in hazardous environments and industrial sites
