BIM Modeller - Electrical Engineering

Position: BIM Modeller - Electrical Engineering Role
Join SYSTRA Canada as a BIM Modeller specializing in electrical engineering. Your expertise in Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D will play a critical role in light rail project success.

This position reports to the Electrical Lead Engineer and focuses on developing and coordinating intricate electrical BIM models. You will collaborate across multiple disciplines, ensuring model quality and adherence to BIM standards. Strong familiarity with electrical system requirements is essential to facilitate project workflows effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create electrical BIM models for stations and infrastructure

• Model systems including power distribution and low voltage components

• Coordinate models across architectural and structural disciplines

• Maintain project files and version control efficiently

• Assist in producing coordinated electrical drawings

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field

• Experience as a BIM Modeller with Revit and Civil 3D

• Understanding of electrical drafting standards for construction

• Ability to interpret design criteria and revisions

• Strong communication and time management skills
