Step into a critical role as a Signaling Systems Engineer, focusing on ETCS Level 1 and 2 deployments. This position requires developing comprehensive technical requirements and planning effective testing protocols.

Our team is looking for a signaling expert with a proven background in ERTMS and familiarity with railway environments. You will assess design compliance, ensure adherence to safety standards, and interface with key stakeholders, including manufacturers and operators. This role demands a blend of technical knowledge and operational insight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy ETCS signaling solutions, Level 1 and 2

• Develop clear technical requirements for tenders

• Conduct compliance assessments against design requirements

• Analyze operational procedures for alignment with rail standards

• Plan and conduct comprehensive system testing protocols

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical or Systems Engineering

• Extensive knowledge of ETCS and ERTMS standards

• Experience in signaling system validation

• Understanding of onboard and trackside components

• Certification eligibility in a Canadian Professional Engineering Association is a plus
