Position: Energy Engineer for Lighting Systems
Join Blackstone Energy Services as an Energy Engineer focused on Lighting Systems and Renewable Technologies in Toronto. Drive energy efficiency through technical oversight and specialized engineering.

In this key role, you will work within the Energy Solutions team, reporting to the Director of Building Performance Engineering. Ideal candidates will possess a background in electrical or energy engineering, with a strong focus on lighting systems, solar PV, and compliance with IESO standards. You’ll conduct audits, develop feasibility studies, and ensure optimal design implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead lighting audits and compliance assessments

• Develop utility-ready measure scopes for applications

• Specify lighting and renewable technologies with vendors

• Analyze energy savings calculations and incentives

• Prepare high-quality reports for stakeholder review

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering

• Minimum of five years in energy engineering

• P.Eng. designation or eligibility for it

• Knowledge of utility programs and M&V practices

• Excellent technical communication skills
