SYSTRA Canada seeks an experienced Geotechnical Field Technician with over five years of supervisory experience in field investigations. This role involves conducting geotechnical drilling, analyzing soil and groundwater conditions, and supporting diverse project teams to meet objectives efficiently. Your keen attention to industry standards and safety regulations will be crucial for successful outcomes in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise geotechnical drilling and in-site testing accurately
• Conduct asphalt and concrete coring operations as needed
• Record and analyze site conditions and drainage patterns
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for project success
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and health regulations
Requirements:
• 5+ years of geotechnical field investigation experience
• University degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Advanced technical writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of risk assessment and remediation techniques
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
