Lead Metallurgist at WSP

Elevate your career as a Lead Metallurgist with WSP. This role allows you to apply your extensive metallurgy knowledge to critical infrastructure projects in Ontario.

In this senior capacity, you’ll join a multidisciplinary team that excels in engineering studies and plays a pivotal role in the design and upgrade of processing facilities. Your contributions will include creating mass balances, analyzing laboratory data, and preparing essential documentation to support project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define project needs and contribute to engineering proposals

• Develop and size process equipment and P&IDs

• Analyze test program outcomes and provide solutions

• Create capital and operating cost estimates

• Mentor junior metallurgists and support project leads

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical or related field

• 15+ years of metallurgical experience required

• Valid P.ENG license necessary

• Strong initiative and rigorous work ethic

• Bilingual (English/French) is beneficial
