In this key role on the Licensing and Safety Analysis team, you'll be responsible for the design and execution of radiation shielding strategies vital to reactor operations. The successful candidate will leverage their industry experience and proficiency in radiation analysis tools to contribute to groundbreaking nuclear technology. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential in achieving our safety and performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead radiation shielding design and analysis efforts
• Perform critical neutronics simulations for safe operations
• Assess materials for optimal shielding solutions
• Navigate and execute regulatory compliance strategies
• Maintain quality assurance in analytical tools
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in nuclear/mechanical engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years experience in radiation shielding
• Skilled in MCNP/ADVANTG toolsets
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
