Environmental Management Specialist in Ontario

As an experienced Environmental Professional, you will spearhead the Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) teams. Your extensive skills and problem-solving mindset empower you to manage environmental issues, collaborate with teams, and engage with regulatory authorities effectively. You will focus on continuous improvement while driving compliance with environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily environmental operations and monitoring programs

• Build relationships with Government Authorities for sustainable practices

• File required reports to relevant authorities

• Implement the Environmental Management System (EMS) effectively

• Coordinate environmental commitments and documentation

Requirements:

• 10+ years in environmental management roles

• Degree in chemical, civil, or environmental engineering

• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and construction environmental practices

• Experience with groundwater and surface water management

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
