Position: Photonics Measurement Technician at Xanadu
Join Xanadu as a Photonics Lab Technician specializing in optical measurements. This hands-on role focuses on photonic device characterization and data analysis in a dynamic lab environment.

As part of the Hardware team at Xanadu, you will collaborate with designers and engineers on optical measurements and sample preparation. In this full-time position, you will conduct metrology and data reporting, ensuring precise operations on photonic devices. Your ability to prepare samples and your attention to detail will be vital as you tackle high-precision tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interface with photonic chip designers for measurements

• Conduct splicing of optical fibers for low-loss transmission

• Perform optical tests and data acquisition

• Analyze measurement data and report findings

• Prepare samples and optical setups for experiments

Requirements:

• BSc in Engineering, Science, or related field

• 2+ years of lab experience with optical measurement

• Proficient in cleaving optical fibers

• Basic knowledge of microscopy and material handling

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
