Senior Highway Engineer Position in Ontario

At AtkinsRéalis, we're looking for a Senior Highway Design Engineer to enhance our Transportation Infrastructure Group. Apply your MTO design experience to lead projects and mentor emerging engineers.

This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineer license in Ontario. You will work closely with project managers to deliver effective highway designs while supporting junior staff and collaborating with various stakeholders, including government and utility agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design highways under the guidance of project managers

• Provide mentorship and direction to junior engineers

• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and utility providers

• Contribute to the collaborative project environment

• Adhere to all applicable design standards and safety protocols

Requirements:

• P. Eng registration and relevant Bachelor's degree

• 5-10 years in MTO planning and design

• Familiarity with MS Office, AutoCAD, and Open Roads

• Licensed driver with reliable transport

• Solid knowledge of MTO guidelines
