Senior PSA Engineer at ALTEN

ALTEN Canada seeks a Senior PSA Engineer to focus on safety assessments and technical analysis in a collaborative environment. Contribute to vital seismic evaluations with industry experts.

In this role, you will review and conduct Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Assessments (PSHA) and engage directly with stakeholders, including Bruce Power. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing technical reports to support PSHA, and participate in discussions that influence safety protocols across sectors. This position offers a pathway to make impactful contributions in engineering safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze PSHA and PSAs thoroughly

• Interact with utility stakeholders like Bruce Power

• Prepare technical calculations to support assessments

• Lead discussions in client meetings

• Analyze complex seismic and technical reports

Requirements:

• Expertise in Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Assessments

• Familiarity with CNSC guidelines preferred

• EPRI training or equivalent experience valuable

• Background in seismic analysis for aerospace or energy

• Previous nuclear industry experience is a plus
